The Notation Mixer is a practice, jam, and music teaching tool that synchronizes audio with music notation. It also includes an audio mixer with individual track pan and volume controls. This tool is a central feature of the Berklee PULSE Music Method, and is located in the Jam Room on the Berklee PULSE site. (www.berkleepulse.net).

Currently students can access over 50 PULSE Music Library sound-alikes of well-known Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, and Hip Hop songs. And more are on the way! Students can play along with synchronized transcriptions based on the corresponding audio track and mute the track when they feel ready to “jam with the band.”

Note: The Notation Mixer is intended for students and teachers who are part of the Berklee City Music National Network or AmpUp NYC. Users must be affiliated with one of our Network partners and have login to access the Berklee PULSE site in order to use Notation Mixer content. This content is free to all students in our Network.
